How do i make my laptop's video card output through the HDMI cable?

With windows Vista you should be able to hook the HDMI cable to you computer then to your (I assume) TV. Once you change the TV's input to be that HDMI port Windows Vista should automatically detect it and give you options on what to do with the new display.|||what is your video card?|||what's your laptops model?
