Which video cards have an hdmi input or output?

im looking for one that i can connect to my hdtv, also does this output sound also? such as the gtx 295 or ati hd 5970?|||There`s a whole bunch of cards with hdmi output. However, even if the cards have only dvi outputs, you can get dvi to hdmi adaptors. Some cards from ATI are made by a lot of different companies. Each with different clock speeds, various outputs and features.

Check out vendors like MSI, Vision tec, Diamond, EVGA. You will find what you need with all the choices available.|||Its output for video cards

Only video capture cards could have a HDMI input.

Why doesn't my new graphics card output video?

I just built a new computer and have a 2gig graphics card. I believe it's the Radeon 6950 HD model. I have been using an HDTV as my monitor for the last couple of weeks until I got a regular monitor for Xmas. I had an hdmi cable from my motherboard slot plugged into the tv. Well now this monitor I got doesn't have hdmi so I have to use either VGA or DVI. I plugged dvi into my graphics card slot as my motherboard doesn't have dvi option and the monitor just says no signal input, going to sleep. I have no clue what is going on. I installed the drivers that came with the monitor and got nothing. My graphics card drivers are also up to date. Please don't tell me that my graphics card is bad because that is not the case. It's brand new and runs video games just fine. It's just the video output seems to be disabled or something. Thanks in advance for any help|||The monitor may have a switch for choosing what input to use. Push it and select the DVI input.

Go into CMOS and check if there's a setting to choose between onboard video or video from an add on card. If your computer is set to use onboard video this may explain what you're seeing.

If your card requires an auxiliary power input verify this cable is plugged in and verify your power supply is big enough to supply the card.

Is there video cards for the computer that output hdmi?

i wanted to use my tv screen as a montior but it only has the HDMI input and no vga input, so i was wondering if thre are video cards that output via HDMI cords. Thanks

glen|||I belive the 9800GX2 does.|||Almost all the latest video cards, ATI Radeon HD specially can, all of the high range, 2xxx, 3xxx seires Some GeForce can do that via an internal sound interconnect. The is a Xfx 7600 GT HDMI special edition. Check on the manufacutrer web pages, and if it has a hdmi dongle or says HDMI compatible there you are.|||Look for a ATI 2900HD or really any ATI HD comes with a dvi to hdmi connector.

Looking for a video card that supports a dual HDMI output?

Does anyone know of any. Ive been searching and haven't found any.|||DVI is compatible with HDMI. You just need a DVI to HDMI cable. This won't carry any audio though.

So all you need is a dual DVI output video card, and you should be able to find several.

I am looking for a decent video card for less than $100. It must have an HDMI output as i am going to hook up ?

to my flat panel TV which has a HDMI input. Any suggest/help shall be highly appreciated.|||http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…

$99.99

Like most cards, you will need a DVI-HDMI adapter. Though most HDTV's have DVI inputs.

Am I able to connect my video cards HDMI to a surround sound receiver and than to my LCD TV?

The HDMI apparently carries true DTS surround sound. Can I connect the HDMI to the receiver and than to the TV, or would I connect the HDMI to the TV and use the coaxial or optical output to the receiver?|||You can connect it directly to your receiver then to your tv if the reciever has a HDMI input and output.

Cheers

Can I still output sound through my hdmi on my graphics card?

I have a computer with realtek onboard motherboard audio. I also have an ATI 5850 video card connected to an AV receiver. Realtek recognizes the hdmi port and outputs sound to it. What I want to know is if I purchase a better sound card such as "ASUS" or "CREATIVE" can I still output sound through HDMI? Or is it required to plug in directly to the sound card and use multichannel cables to get 7.1 sound? I'd like it just to be one hdmi for video and sound.|||Your video card does not include sound, but it looks like ATI is ready to start including them on thier video cards....

Your other question, can you port sound through another card via HDMI cable on your vid card...No.
